Amazon Prime is a membership offered by Amazon.com that gets you unlimited free shipping and also one-day shipping for as low as $3.99. Earlier today Amazon announced that members of Amazon Prime will have instant unlimited access to video streaming of over 5,000 movies and TV shows. At $79 a year Amazon is about $20 cheaper than Netflix however, it doesn’t offer near as many choices. Netflix has already had some challengers (Apple, Hulu & Google) and it seems that more competitors will begin to offer similar services. One such company is RedBox who has recently announced it is looking for a partnership to help deliver its own instant video streaming service.
