Man in Idaho Develops App to Stop Texting While Driving

Posted on March 30, 2011

A doctor in Pocatello, Idaho has recently developed an application that will disable texting if you are driving over 15mph.  The app uses the phone’s GPS to automatically shut down the ability to text when the user breaks 15mph.  This could help many parents with teenagers sleep a little better  in the months to come.  The app currently sells for $4.99 but all of it goes straight to charity.
